The Rose and Thistle is a traditional village pub in the picturesque village of Haddenham.
Haddenham is the original home of the Aylesbury Duck (the big white ones !). We are close to St. Mary's Church and the Village Green which has the largest of the four ponds. It is also well known as one of the only three villages in the country with witchert walls and buildings. Used for many a film and TV set (Kermit the Frog cycled into the village green pond) and if you've ever wondered where the infamous Midsomer is, part of it is in Haddenham !
